This qualification provides students with the skills and knowledge to work in agricultural production. Subject to the nature of the employer's business, a trainee undertaking this role will acquire a broad range of skills in one or more agricultural sectors, such as broadacre cropping (e.g. grains, sugarcane, cotton) and livestock (e.g. sheep, beef, horses).

Students who successfully complete the course will receive the nationally recognised Certificate for AHC20116 Certificate II in Agriculture. This Qualification is from the latest version of the SIT Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Training Package and is the most up-to-date qualification in agriculture.
Graduates are eligible for enrolment in the AHC30116 Certificate III in Agriculture qualification and will be eligible for direct credit for units completed in this course.
