Course Outline

This unit covers the conduct of lifting operations in the resources and infrastructure industries. It includes planning for lifting, preparing for lifting and moving loads. Licensing, legislative, regulatory and certification requirements that apply to this unit can vary between states, territories, and industry sectors. Relevant information must be sourced prior to application of the unit.


Through the combination of theory and practical training, this course provides participants with the necessary knowledge and skills required to safely attend to lifting operations.  This course is a great course to compliment RIIVEH307D Operate a Vehicle Loading Crane & RIIVEH304D Conduct Slewing Crane Operations

What are the pre-requisites?

  • Have a current white card 
  • Must be able to supply 100 points of identification
  • Have a good understanding of the English language
  • Arrive 15 minutes early to your training session

All students who are competent in RIIHAN203D Conduct Lifting Operations will recieve a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.
