This course is a nationally accredited 2 day course run by Allstates Training or an accredited trainer in a third party partnership with our RTO number 32577. The Standard 11 Skill Set from the RII09 Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package meets the QLD regulatory requirements for those aiming to work in surface mining operations. Participants who undertake the Standard 11 program will be gaining the requisite knowledge and skills identified by industry as being of paramount importance when working on site. The Standard 11 course ensures that the generic safety information and obligations, applicable on all types of mine sites are provided to workers prior to working on a mine site.
No formal previous learning is required for this course however participants are encouraged to gain general knowledge of the mining industry and environment before starting the course. It is acknowledged that this is a course based on a Certificate II level qualification that requires appropriate levels of language, literacy and numeracy skills to manage course work, in-course activities and assessment tasks.
